Hitesh Patel is a 22-year seasoned professional with expert experience in the construction engineering and design industry. During his career, his responsibilities have included estimating, establishing project budgets, contract bidding and negotiations. He is able to effectively manage client relationships and take a project from concept to completion in a timely manner that is within budget. Hitesh has managed projects globally, across the US, Europe, Asia and South Africa. He is also a member of several non-for-profit organizations to aid in the growth of his community. Hitesh is a skillful storyteller, ask him about the many projects and experiences that has built his portfolio.

Daniel Swanson was born and raised in South Florida and went on to earn his Civil Engineering Degree from the University of South Florida. He has experience designing structures in a wide range of industries with the majority of his projects coming in the commercial, industrial, and educational fields. He has always been fascinated with structures. From building Legos as a kid to designing buildings across the Midwest, he will use this curiosity to help create a facility to exceed your expectations.

Tommy Cohoat was born in Indianapolis, IN. He graduated college at Ball State University with a Construction Management degree. For 4 years Tommy worked for a general contractor, traveling around the United States. During his general contracting career, his responsibilities included estimating, project management, managing project budgets, managing change orders, and scheduling. Proceeding his general contracting career, he started a sales career in the construction industry. After the company he was working for sold, Tommy continued his entrepreneurial passion and started Midwest Premier Painting. His company currently provides painting and drywall services to general contractors, property managers, and owners. With all this experience and his connections in the industry, Tommy has assumed the role of Director of Business Development and customer relations. In his free time, Tommy enjoys golfing and fishing.

Danny Cohoat was born in Indianapolis, In and attended Cathedral High School. Danny’s education includes attending Penn State University where he studied Turf Grass Science. While attending university, he mastered his skills with hands-on experience which included landscape re-design and golf course improvement working at Wood Wind Golf Club as a supervisor. As Danny explored all his options, he later decided to attend Purdue School of Engineering in Indianapolis where he studied Mechanical Engineering. Danny is well rounded in many industries, with Engineering Services and Project Management being his main focuses. Danny’s analytical and detailed-focused skills, including finding creative ways to improve processes, are all ways he likes to express those passions makes him the perfect partner as Project Manager at Midwest Design Group. Danny’s hobbies include spending as much time possible outdoors where he plays golf, and fishes any spare time he has.

Steve Little started his career as a systems sales engineer for the Trane Company after graduating college with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and serving a total of 10 years in the United States Navy. Steve is also a LEED accredited professional. Since then, Steve has started and owned several successful businesses involved in the construction industry, including Level Solutions Group. With an in-depth knowledge of the principals of product design and engineering along with practical knowledge of the HVAC and lighting industry, Steve is an asset to Midwest Design Group and our clients. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially when it involves golf, fishing, and skiing.
